Setting up Product Labels in Instant Search Widget

The Product Labels feature allows adding eye-catching labels to products in search results. You can add Discount Labels to products sold with discounts or In-stock Labels to display product availability.

Discount Labels

To set up Discount Labels, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Searchanise control panel > Search & Navigation > Instant search widget section > Product Labels tab.
2. Click the Edit button next to the Discount label.
3. Switch the Show label toggle to On.
4. Optionally, change the background and text colors of the discount label.
5. Optionally, change the text of the Discount Label. If you enter the [discount] parameter in the text box, it will be replaced with the actual product discount.
6. Click the Save label button in the top-right corner.

To show Discount Labels in the Search results widget, you’ll need to apply the same settings in the Search results widget section.

In-stock Labels

You can add In-stock Labels to products in the Instant Search Widget to show their availability to customers.

To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Searchanise control panel > Search & Navigation > Instant search widget section > Product Labels tab.
2. Click the Edit button next to the In-stock label.
3. Switch the Show label toggle to On.
4. Optionally, change the label background and text color.
5. Optionally, change the text of the label.
   Note

   For BigCommerce: If you enter the [quantity] parameter into the In-stock text box and product inventory is tracked in your store, it will be replaced with the actual inventory quantity of the product in the widget.

6. Click the Save label button in the top-right corner.

To show In-stock Labels in the Search Results Widget, you’ll need to apply the same settings in the Search results widget section.

Pre-order Labels

You can add Pre-Order Labels to products to let customers know that they are available for pre-order.

Pre-Order Labels are available in WooCommerce plugin v. 1.0.12 or later for products with backorders enabled under Product > Inventory > Allow backorders?.

To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Searchanise Search & Filter control panel > Search & Navigation > Instant search widget section > Product Labels tab.
2. Click the Edit button next to the Pre-order label.
3. Switch the Show label toggle to On.
4. Optionally, change the background color and the text color of the label.
5. Optionally, change the text of the label.
6. Click the Save label button in the top-right corner.

To show Pre-Order Labels in the Search Results Widget, you’ll need to apply the same settings in the Search results widget section.

Out-of-stock Labels

You can add Out-of-stock Labels to products to show their unavailability to customers.

To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Searchanise Search & Filter control panel > Search & Navigation > Instant search widget section > Product Labels tab.
2. Click the Edit button next to the Out-of-stock label.
3. Switch the Show label toggle to On.
4. Optionally, change the background color and the text color of the label.
5. Optionally, change the text of the label.
6. Click the Save label button in the top-right corner.

To show Out-of-stock Labels in the Search Results Widget, you’ll need to apply the same settings in the Search results widget section.
