Some products aren’t showing in search results, but they are in my BigCommerce store. Why?

By default, Searchanise widgets display products with the enabled Visible on Storefront setting.

If you don’t see the products in the search results, that can occur in these cases:

  1. Products aren’t visible on the storefront, so the app doesn’t index them – the Visible on Storefront setting is switched off for products in the BigCommerce admin panel.
  2. Products have the SEARCHANISE_IGNORE search keyword – you have hidden products from search according to these instructions.
  3. Products are out-of-stock, and you have hidden such products from search in the Searchanise configuration: Smart Search & Filter control panel > Preferences section > Products tab > Hide out-of-stock products setting.
